Your first emotion is wonder—
What is this? you ask.
Single-mindedly fixated on the prize,
You know of nothing else.
The world passes you by,
Like a stream curving around a rock,
Steadily marching forward
Without even the slightest falter.
But as you fall father behind the crowd,
Longing creeps into your heart—
I want to go to it.
First it is a shy, trembling want
but then it grows stronger and stronger
Until it is fierce, powerful, fervent,
consuming, uncontrollable.
Drawing strength from your emotions,
The threads of your desires,
Your soul,
And your being
Intertwine into a steady rope,
Coiled tightly, poised, crackling with

She comes, as if she knows exactly what will happen.
She comes, because she knows who will win.

the noises die down
lights flicker and dim
and she has unfailingly arrived.
Gliding from one rose-tipped cloud
to another
she advances steadily.
Nothing blocks her way;
nothing dares stand in the way
of a being who is so powerful
and so dangerous
and so intimidating.
News of her arrival spreads
like wildfire,
but not as a roaring blaze
but rather, dark whispers
travelling at the speed
of not light,
but darkness.
And eventually it reaches him

A letter to that most-cherished entity, Free Time.
Dear Free Time,
This letter came about after I experienced a vivid memory that plunged me back to the days when we were close, inseparable companions. It holds particular strength in my mind, dating back to the time when memories were often dreamy and vague, if they existed at all. I remember stumbling through the haze of simple thoughts that an infant often finds themselves lost in. Among the desires for nourishment and rest and affection, you suddenly appeared. In my mind, you took on an usual appearance, as a swirl of pulsating, shifting colours, fading from orange to yellow to red. You loomed over me, having emerged from the depths, and

I don't really talk too much about my daily life on dA since I didn't want to spam everyone with constant horror stories of my time in the kitchen (which is why I do that on fb https://www.facebook.com/FisheyePlacebo/photos_stream instead) but today, I would like to share some of the extra "special" moments during my college life (even though I graduated already).
When upstairs neighbors are being very loud, the most effective method is to leave an angry coconut at their door ;)
When life gives you pears, cut them into ducks and bake them into pizza~

Most of us anticipate the weekend. I do, too, but with some reluctance. My lessons and extracurricular activities are all on Friday night and Saturday, taking up a good portion of my weekend. I'm shuttled from one place to another, with hardly any time to rest in between, aside from a quick lunch.
But at least there's still Sunday, and I intend not to spend the day on last-minute homework assignments. I want to go somewhere, preferably with my camera. A large park would be nice. The local bird sanctuary would be enjoyable.
I just wish I could go somewhere.
apparently, it's a mistake to start a drawing project at 10pm, especially if it's going to take four hours to finish.
apparently, it's also a mistake to start a writing project at 10pm, especially if it's going to take four hours to finish.
i should stop starting projects at 10pm.

why is it teachers like to give all their tests on the same day?
Summer's almost over and school's going to start soon...
I'm not fond of school.
I've been searching through my old photos and finding good ones from a long, long time ago...
A squirrel stole a pear today from my pear tree. I took a photo of it.
